Submitted by Christy Whitmore on Fri, 2009-10-09 12:33Conde Nast has its financial struggles but it’s smart enough not to mess with Wired. The print publication continues to please chairman Si Newhouse as 2009 comes to a close, and that means resources will continue to flow to EIC Chris Anderson and his team. Of course, these are the same people who despise PR pros and, typically, won’t give them the time of day. That’s why we invested resources of our own in studying Wired’s story types, and unearthing new pitching opportunities. Wired long has been a visual edit environment, and is even more so, with fresh interest in photography and video. Say what you will about Wired: it’s still one of the best places your clients can be.
